Mitarbeiterkapitalbeteiligung unter Verwendung einer Beteiligungsgesellschaft (Employee Share Ownership with an Intermediary Entity) / Funding: Hans Böckler Foundation (Oct. 2010 – June 2012)

The main objective of this study is the development of a German EFP model with an intermediary entity based on the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The team has conducted empirical research on German enterprises, which already have implemented similar employee participation models. The presented results and the broad theoretic background of the study summarise the benefits and pitfalls of such schemes and are intended to foster the public discussions on the subject.
